- Theoretical principles of ground-penetrating radar technology.
- Review of instrumental aspects:
- Radar control units;
- Low-frequency antennas for geological surveys;
- Medium-frequency antennas for road surveys and underground utility mapping;
- High-frequency antennas for non-destructive testing of structures and roads;
- Special multi-frequency antennas;
- Stream-type multi-array systems.
- Radar surveys and data acquisition: survey design, calibration measurements, acquisition methods and parameters, operational instructions.
- Data filtering, analysis, and interpretation: 2D and 3D visualization, in-situ analysis, post-processing, target detection and recognition.
- Radar data processing techniques: from 2D cross-sections to 3D analysis: new multi-antenna stream systems.
Practical acquisition tests with antennas at different frequencies, calibration measurements, data visualization, and measurement processing complete the training.
