Metronix was founded in 1976 to manufacture and sell magnetotelluric (MT) exploration equipment.
In 2023 and 2025, the ADU-10e (LF) and the ADU-11e (multipurpose, airborne and ground-based) were introduced to the market, representing the latest-generation systems to date.
These “single-board” data loggers combine high performance with minimal power consumption and compact size.
All channel components are integrated on a single board, making the systems extremely robust and energy-efficient.
The ADU-11e can be disassembled for use in aircraft.
In 2025, the new generation of MFS-12e induction coils was launched. These “switchless” units simultaneously record low and high frequencies with maximum sensitivity.
Geostudi Astier srl is proud to supply these European-made instruments to the Italian market, which represent the state of the art in MT instrumentation.
