SWAN (Surface waves analysis)
Powerful software for processing seismic data, also perfect for assessing Vs30.
SWAN is the software for analyzing and interpreting seismic data.
• MASW or SASW (Multi-Channel Analysis of Surface Waves – Spectral Analysis of Surface Waves)
• REMI (REfraction MIcrotremors)
The MASW or SASW methodology allows for a detailed reconstruction of the distribution of surface wave propagation velocities (S and P) in the first few meters of the subsurface. While the REMI technique, at the expense of lower accuracy in the first few meters, allows for greater depths. Both survey methodologies are highly cost-effective and time-efficient for measurements and analyses.
SWAN is suitable for various levels of use, without compromising the quality of the results obtained. It is a powerful tool both for those interested in deepening their knowledge of seismic science, taking advantage of the various tools available, and for professionals who simply want to interpret the collected field data quickly and easily.
