SYSMAR is a system for the real-time acquisition and graphical representation of apparent resistivity measurements acquired continuously using SYSCAL Pro, as is used in marine applications. Thanks to its 10 reception channels, SYSCAL Pro allows you to obtain ten simultaneous resistivity measurements at ten different depth levels. With acquisition times of 150 ms, the measurement set is acquired very quickly.
The apparent resistivity pseudo-section, as acquisition progresses, is displayed in real time on the screen of a PC connected to the instrument, alongside the numerical display of the acquired potential and injected current values.
The SYSCAL Pro + SYSMAR system allows the acquisition of several kilometers of tomographic profiles per day, with considerable coverage of the investigated area.
A special version of the SYSCAL Pro, called SYSCAL Pro Deep Marine, with 10 or 20 channels and a power of 2500 W, allows the technique to be used even in the presence of considerable water depths.
